Booth Industries – Sabic Refinery – Teesside

We were awarded a contract with Booth Industries to install blast resistant building panels, roof, windows and doors for Sabic Refinery in Teesside. The building is a control room for receiving and offloading tankers (ships) with LPG Gas from oversees.

We were left with a bare steel frame building with concrete floors installed. The work involved receiving delivery of panels, installing external wall panels and roof, gutters, drain pipes and flashings were finally installed to seal the building, allowing internal installation of insulation and internal panel trims. Finally, the Blast windows and Doors were then installed as per specification.

All external panels and roof were lifted into position using a 50 Tonne crane, all slinging and crane supervision was carried out by DTI Lifting Personnel.
